These images come from one of my early experiments with stop frame dance animation. the prints are made onto rice paper and impregnated with beeswax, giving them a beautiful translucent quality. This was a collaboration with dancer and choreographer Mari-Louise Basson.  

The work was originally part of an exhibition - "The Man in the Sensible Pants" which examined the insanity of ordinary life. This included overtones of an ongoing reflection on industry and technology as it impacts on our humanity.
